A good time for Canadians to buy in Palm Springs
05.30.2010
As the Canadian currency reaches parity with the US Dollars, more and more Canadians seem to be flocking to Palm Springs to find a second home in the sun. (See recent Market Watch report) With record low real estate prices and a very cold Canadian winter, can you blame them??

According to the National Association of Realtors, 27,000 Candians bought homes in the US last year, and it looks like the trend will continue through 2010. With the loonie continuing to increase, experts are predicting the buying spree to continue.
Many Canadians spooked by the stock market’s volatility, are looking to invest their money into property. With easy access to the US with direct flights into Palm Springs, the desert has become a logical choice for 2nd home purchase.
I’ve had numerous Canadian buyers over the past 12 months, from the West to East coast. There’s a slight learning curve for Canadians as to what to expect, and what is involved with the purchase process. I’ve put together some tips and notes on my website, Canadian Buying Opportunities in Palm Springs.
If I can be of any service, please contact me. We welcome Canadians with open arms!!! paulkaplanre@gmail.com
