Every Monday at 7PM, at the ACE Hotel in Palm Springs, Linda Gerard, the singing hostess, a Palm Springs personality, hosts Sissy Bingo, where she sings, scandalizes, charms, and bestows really good prizes (champagne, cookies, and gift certificates). Linda keeps the atmosphere light, filling the space with her energy, her enormous sunglasses, and her flamboyant style. She has a way with Judy Garland tunes! The Certified Farmers Market(CFM)  brings local farmers and vendors together to Palm Springs, to showcase the fruits of their labor. The CFM is a gathering place where the community can learn about the importance of nutrition, fresh produce and organic options.

Russ Spencer issued this wonderful video on the Park Imperial South complex in South Palm Springs, designed by Barry Berkus. One of the most iconic mid-century condo complexes of the time. Unique architecture, which contributes to Palm Springs being the Mecca for mid-century design.  The Park Imperial South was a popular sold-out tour during Modernism Week 2011.
